Diane let’s us know what she loves most about the home, “I love how beautiful, peaceful, and quiet the home is. The outside is beautiful and makes you feel very close to nature.”

She also says, “It’s a great family home with special places for family and friends to gather and enjoy each other’s company. I’ve loved that this is the home where my children’s friends like to congregate. It’s where pictures are taken before dances and where the kids congregate after events.”

And the kids really loved the home too, shares Diane, “My children absolutely love their rooms. They each have had numerous sleepovers where the rooms are packed with friends.”

Diane says that she will miss “the storage in the kitchen. There’s a place for absolutely everything. The dining room has hosted so many memorable family dinners and our family has enjoyed many a cozy movie night in the spacious and comfortable living room.”

“The path alongside the property takes us directly to beautiful Broomfield hikes. Also, the ability to walk outside and be immediately at the lake to watch the birds and the sunrise with a morning cup of coffee is magical,” shares Diane.

Again, the house has been great to her children. She explains, “The kids have had so many great experiences on the lawns from hosted outdoor parties with kids circled around the fire pit next to the lake to soccer practices on the lawn and outdoor parties with friends.”

And, “There is so much room to host many, many kids and adults without worrying about disturbing neighbors,” she goes on the explain.

Plus, she says, “There’s also plenty of room to store our boat and camper off-street without worrying about restrictions from an HOA.”

About the Area

“Broomfield is an amazing community for walks, hikes and bike rides.  It’s a great family community,” Diane tells us about the city.

“There are several local breweries and restaurants with outside seating that are great gathering spots for friends and easily reached during a quick bike ride,” she explains.

In terms of schools, she says, “We had kids that benefited tremendously from the academics and special programs provided by attending schools in the Boulder Valley school district as well as Holy Family High School, which is also just a short distance away. The proximity to highly regarded academic institutions has been really helpful in finding the best fit for our children.”

And, Diane points out, “We also really appreciated how quickly we can get to Boulder or Denver. Being almost directly between them both was always extremely convenient.”
