“Our home is a mountain retreat with modern-day conveniences nestled on a 9200′ hilltop,” explains Abeer.
Favorite features? She says, “I absolutely love our floors, from the Travertine tile to the bamboo dining room and the Brazilian Tiger Wood decks. But no words could fully describe the warm feeling you get on a cold day when you step out of the shower onto the radiant heated marble floor. Just heaven!”
And, “(The) home was built for entertaining. I will miss having all my family, friends and colleagues for game nights. With open space and sky-high windows, they gather around the heart of the kitchen trying out my new recipes.”
Additionally, Abeer, let’s us know that, “Thanks to the Fios Internet run to the property and a propane generator, you will never experience business interruptions. But give yourself permission to use that excuse so you could play in the snow.”
“We added a fence, laid an asphalt driveway, as well as installed water softener and radon mitigation systems,” Abeer fills us in on updates to the home.
About the Yard and Neighbors
“Don’t be surprised if you find George (a grown Elk) sleeping standing up in front of the separate garage. That is his name and spot,” she tells us.
And, she goes one, “With a handful of homes on the street, we all know each other. It’s our holiday tradition to distribute cookie baskets. Some of them even send me requests in July.”

Abeer raves about a nearby park, “Within a 5-minute drive, you are welcomed by Golden Gate Canyon State Park. The park boasts 35 miles of hiking trails. You could hike, bike, walk there every day for a month and not have to go through the same trail twice!”
“My dog, husband and I love to hike in the park and have season’s passes. Every weekend, we pack water and snacks and head to our spot deep in the belly of the park among soaring mountain tops,” she elaborates.
Abeer says that the home has, “easy access to all Boulder, Denver, Golden and Nederland have to offer for food, entertainment and nightlife. When staying close to home, we love to go to to Amir’s for authentic Syrian food and enjoy a fresh baked pita with hummus and falafel.”
Lastly, she expalins that, “If you never believed in the State’s slogan Come to Life, visit our house and then you will.”
